Microsoft Corp. issued a software patch the largest in history. Patches to fix security problems, including for Windows 7 that have not been released.
In a monthly update sent to users of its software, Microsoft released 13 security bulletins. Patches it to overcome weaknesses in Windows 34, Internet Explorer, Silverlight, Office and other products.
Microsoft says six of the patches were high priority and should be applied immediately. Patch that updates the troubled software, designed to protect users from hackers or malicious software can be downloaded from the Internet.
Some patches affect Windows 7 which is the company's newest operating system and will be officially introduced next week. OS that is now widely used in the test version.
Microsoft spokesperson was not willing to explain whether it has identified more security problems in Windows 7. The company usually does not reveal such problems, until a patch.
Vulnerability in Windows 7 that includes the risk of a PC can be taken over by hackers. But it is according to Dave Marcus, senior researcher at software security company McAfee Inc., it was to be expected,
"For people who write code, there will always be vulnerabilities," he said.
Update that includes the largest number of patches issued on one day by Microsoft.
